Our Mission

Helping Families Navigate the Digital World with Confidence

We create practical, research-backed guides so parents don't have to figure it all out alone.

Every Parent Deserves a Clear Roadmap

When your child gets their first phone, joins a new platform, or stumbles into something online you weren't prepared for — the overwhelm is real. The advice is everywhere, but most of it is vague, fear-based, or out of date.

Digital Family Reset was built to change that. We translate the latest research, platform policies, and child development science into clear, actionable guides parents can actually use today.

No judgment. No panic. Just practical tools that work for real families.

Our Guiding Principles

Everything we create is built on these four beliefs about raising kids in the digital age.

🧭

Clarity Over Fear

Fear-based advice leaves parents paralyzed. We focus on clear, practical steps you can take right now — not worst-case scenarios designed to alarm you.

👨‍👩‍👧

Families First

Every guide is written with real family dynamics in mind. Age-appropriate, honest, and designed to open conversations rather than close them down.

🔬

Research-Backed

We stay current on child development research, platform policy changes, and digital safety studies so you don't have to spend hours on Google.

Actionable, Always

If a parent can't do something with it by the end of the weekend, we haven't done our job. Every resource is built to be used, not just read.

Jen Bukich — Digital Family Reset

Built by a Parent, for Parents

Digital Family Reset started with a simple frustration: my own child was spending hours on platforms I barely understood, and every resource I found was either ten years old, written for tech experts, or so alarming it made me want to throw every device in the house into the ocean.

So I started writing the guides I wished had existed. Clear breakdowns of what Instagram actually shows your 12-year-old. Step-by-step settings for Roblox parents. Honest conversations about screen time that didn't make kids feel like criminals.

Those guides became this library. And if you're here, it means you're doing the work that matters most — showing up for your family's digital life, even when it's complicated.
